this is my favorite picture in the history of forever.
The sun was sitting low over the horizon, casting a rainbow of colors across the sky. Even the nearby clouds, white and fluffy only a few hours ago, were tinted a strange shade of pink. A pleasant pink, if there was such a thing, unlike that of his cousin and the obnoxious host he so often dealt with.
Things were finally settling down in the city. The parents with their children were safe indoors, and most of the commuters had returned home from their hard days at work. The night crowd had yet to surface. Only a few stragglers were out this late, either still returning home or preemptively searching for an open club.
This was the perfect time of day for Hachimenroppi to take his walk. The best opportunity to run into the least amount of people without waking up insanely early.
Roppi liked to think of the sunset relating to his life. As it was falling down the sky, he liked to imagine his own life sinking as well. His body slipping lower and lower until nothing could be seen of him. Until he was invisible. Until he was no more.
